Excuses are born out of fear. Eliminate your fear and there will be no excuses.
Don’t just wait for inspiration. Become it.
To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment.
Ralph Waldo Emerson
With great success comes great potential for criticism. No matter what people say, be yourself, stay true to your intuition, and keep doing your best. Everything will fall into place.
When I let go of what I am, I become what I might be.
Very useful article. Have been feeling overwhelmed with things recently, so this is pretty timely. Some interesting stuff:
- Weigh up the time, costs and scope of each task. This is represented by an equilateral triangle. You cannot make changes to one side without changing the other two sides.
- The sides you’re weakest in help determine the projects that need special attention. This holds true for all things, not just projects and project managers: If someone heaps more work onto you (scope), but insists that you finish in the same amount of time (time), you’ll need more resources (cost) to get the job done.
If you hear a voice within you say ‘you cannot paint,’ then by all means paint and that voice will be silenced.
Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind.
